MEETING OF MORLEY TOWN COUNCIL

Please note - people attending must not park in the adjoining car park of Haydn Court - this is a private car park for residents only. There is adequate parking in Morrisons Car Park or in the parking bays outside Morley Elderly Action in Wesley Street. Haydn Court car park should also not be used for drivers dropping off passengers using the side entrance path - they should walk the few yards from Wesley Street.

To consider the Committee's recommendation and formally approve the continuation of the Council's Christmas lights provision with Blachere Illuminations, the Council's supplier for the past three years, following the expiry of the existing contract.
Members are asked to consider and approve acceptance of the supplier's offer for a two- year contract extension at £14,758 per annum (excluding VAT)
10. Civic Regalia Valuation and Appointment of Jeweller
To approve the valuation of the Council's civic regalia and note that, once submitted for valuation, the regalia will be retained by the appointed jeweller for a period of time to enable the work to be completed.
The Clerk will provide a report to Council on the two jewellers who have responded. These are the company who previously valued the regalia, and a company in Leeds suggested by Leeds CC. Members are asked to review the information and appoint a jeweller to undertake the valuation of the civic regalia, and delegate authority to the Clerks to take all necessary steps to implement the Council's decision, including instructing the appointed jeweller, arranging the collection and return of the regalia, and completing any associated administrative requirements.
