Topcliffe Lane Parking Issue
Morley Town Council is working with Leeds City Council and local residents to look at resolving some of the problems that present exist on Topcliffe Lane in Morley. The parking difficulties often mean that vehicles, especially buses and emergency vehicles, have difficulty passing along Topcliffe Lane.
Councillors have met with residents at a recent public meeting to discuss proposals to resolve the problems and several suggestions, such as extension of yellow lines and restrict parking zones are being considered.
A spokesperson for the Council said, “we are working very hard with the City Council’s Highways department and residents to come up with the best solution to the problems we face at this location. We will be going back to consult residents more when we have the final drawings available”.
