Mayor welcomes new business venture

The Mayor of Morley, Councillor Robert Finnigan attended the formal opening of the new ‘Different Gravy’ wine bar on Queen Street on Saturday, 16 September 2017.  The new bar, based in the former carpet shop, is an additional venue supporting Morley’s daytime and nighttime economy.

Councillor Finnigan said “I am delighted to be at the opening of this new bar that materially contributes towards Morley’s growing nighttime economy.  It is a fabulous example of regeneration at the Fountain Street end of Queen Street and shows how the Town Centre is developing in a positive way.  Morley Town Council, together with the  Town Centre Management Board and the Town Centre Manager continues to work with local businesses to maintain a busy and thriving town.  My very best wishes go to this new business, which I am sure will be a roaring success”. town
