Kings Coronation with The Big Lunch 2023

Join us as we celebrate the King’s Coronation with The Big Lunch!

We are inviting the local community to come together and celebrate the national ‘King’s Coronation Big Lunch’, so why not bring a picnic or purchase lunch from one of our local traders available on the day. There will be a full stage show including music from Leeds Musical Theatre Choir, Tingley Brass Band, Carly Wood and more!

The Coronation will be played on a loop for everyone to enjoy and there will be a host of activities for families to join in: face painting, craft and food stalls, clay crown making with The Little Biscuit Pottery Painting Studio, bath bomb creations with Liberty Emporium, crown making, a kid’s coronation and tours of Morley Town Hall.

There will be a pop up cafe and a selfie station where you can take your photograph in front of Buckingham Palace and horse drawn carriage rides up and down Queen Street.

This promises to be a royal and historic occasion and we look forward to seeing you there!

This is a free event however, please note that numbers are limited and will be offered on a first come-first served basis.
