Councillors join local residents in Drighlington Bulb Planting Action Day

Morley Town councillors Andy Hutchison and Bob Gettings joined members of Drighlington Parish Council and local residents on Saturday in a bulb planting day of action in Drighlington village.  The bulbs, provided by Councillor Gettings, were planted adjacent to the Drighlington Bypass and Station Road junction.

Councillor Gettings said “We have undertaken bulb planting action days for several years around the village.  This location is passed by many residents, as well as many motorists travelling along the bypass and will be a riot of colour in Spring when the bulbs germinate.”
