The 2007 Festival promises to be bigger and better with exciting and engaging events for all ages. Over five days you and your family can enjoy poetry reading, teddy bears picnic, crazy cartoonists, potty poets, bugs and beasties hunt, Manga workshops, Million Miles an Hour Show with puppets and magic, and Professor Bumm's Story Machine.

The first Morley Literature Festival took place in 2006, inspired by the centenary of Morley Library. The festival proved to be a great success with over 1000 people attending events and providing excellent feedback.

It was therefore proposed that it should become an annual event in Morley's calendar. Morley Literature Festival Committee are pleased to welcome well known and popular poets and musicians including Barrie Rutter.
